The Hindus are quite familiar with the word Moksha and people from this community try to get free from the all earthy ties in the life. This story of this movie is based on this following concept only. Here the character Dayanand Kumar which is played brilliantly by Lalit Behl, has made the decision to enter in Mukti Bhawan in Varanasi as he wants to get prepared himself for his last journey. For this reason he leaves back his family and the family was completely unprepared for such certain decision. The portrayal of the son, Rajeev, has been played by Adil Hussain and portrayal of Lata by Geetanjali Kulkarni presented on screen beautifully. Palomi Ghosh plays the character of the daughter of Rajeev and Lata.
This is the debut movie of Shubhashish Bhutiani as director. He has successfully showed the interplay between life the death and how Dayanand Kumar started making distance with his family to walk on the journey towards death. The movie has been released in English version as Salvation hotel in the International film festival. There are certain mundane which the director could have avoided. It is nearly 30 minutes; we keep watching the daily routine of Rajeev, Lata and their daughter. Well, placing of some interesting characters within the movie has made this movie acceptable one. The characters like gruff hotel manager played by Anil K Rastogi, the portrayal of widow Vimla played by Navnindra Behl have made this movie stronger.
The screenplay done by Shubhashish Bhutiani himself and the dialogue writer is none other than Asad Hussain. The director of this movie has the potentiality of undercutting different emotional moments nicely. The parting has been made too funny so that the audience can enjoy the movie till the end without getting bored. So, there is no doubt that the movie has been made based on a unique storyline which was never being in the minds of other directors. We are in need of such movies as this showcases the real life incidents which many of us may face in our life. All that we can say here is that, this movie is worth watching for a great movie experience.
