Dangal, proved to be one of the most successful Bollywood movies for the year 2016. The movie achieved success in box office because of great acting of Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan but we can never ignore the talents of Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. Aamir Khan has played the portrayal of Mahabir Singh Phogat who dreamt to make his daughters wrestlers. His two daughters Geeta Phoghat and Babita Kumari played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra respectively are the two central characters of this film. Geeta Phoghat won Gold Medal in 55 kg and Babita Kumari won Silver in 51 Kg in 2010 Commonwealth Games. It was because of the efforts of their father Mahabir Ji who was also a national wrestling champion, that they experienced the flavor of success in wrestling.

Mahavir Singh Phoghat (Aamir Khan) was forced to leave wrestling to join job to warn bread and butter for the family. Since then his dream was that his son will win gold for India one day. But, when his wife Daya Shobha Kaur played by Sakshi Tanwar gave birth to four daughters one after another, Mahavir gave up his dream. But, one day when her elder daughters Geeta and Babita beat two boys for making displeasing comments towards them, Mahavir realized that his daughters have the ability to become wrestlers. Then he started giving coaching to his daughters. Both the girls need to face many obstacles to reach the stage of succes and all thanks to their father who took the risk of leaving his job only to train his daughters. Such fathers are true blessing for a girl child in a country like India.  It will be wrong to ignore the contribution of Zaira Wasim as Young Geeta and Suhani Bhatnagar as Babita. They were more than brilliant in their performance and proved them to be one of the finest new talents for the industry.

Starting from writing of the script, editing, dialogue throwing of the actors, everything has been done beautifully in the movie. The music of the movie has been composed by Pritam and lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Aamir Khan and the entire crew of the movie were given proper wrestling training by Shankar Bishnoi, famous coach of Indian Women’s wrestling team. The Government of India has made this movie tax free for promoting Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign. The movie has gain four awards in prestigious  Filmfare award ceremony.
